I started a new blog!!!

Hey guys,

I'm sharing a new blog. It is about a journey we started last October. Don't forget to follow us and keep in touch when I am taking the maternity leave.

By the way... maternity leave means "licença maternidade".

Halloween is coming...

I was planning some lessons earlier today when I found a cute website that recommended this Halloween story.

 It is cool. Have fun!

A day in bed!

Ok, I won't lie. It wasn't really the all day. In the morning, I didn't do much. I just cooked lunch... I even burned the rice!!! Ouch, the smell in the kitchen was awful. After lunch, I spent the all time in bed. I slept for couple of hours, then I woke up and watched tv. Then, more tv. And then, sleep again.

I had to stay home to take care of my health. Some teachers taught in my place. I missed teaching the kids and the evening class on Wednesday and Engage 1 group on Thursday. Ana told me that class was really good. Well, I bet it was. They are really great students. I missed them.

I got back to UDI on Friday and my first group was really nice. They are cool students. I love teaching them as well.

I am feeling a little better and I hope to be in shape by next week. So, off the computer I go!!!

Gran torino

Yesterday, I taught at UDI from 8 a.m until 1:15 p.m. Classes were nice. In the afternoon, I went to the doctor to check out my neck and shoulders. Then, I did physiotherapy. In the evening, I cooked a nice dinner and went to bed to watch a movie. The movie was really cool. Do you cry when you watch movies? I do. I love strong stories and Gran Torino has a strong story to tell. If you haven't watched yet, please do when you can. It is awesome. It teaches you a lesson for life.

I'm not going to write about it, because it will spoil the fun of watching it.
So, here is just a teaser.

What a long weekend!

I got really sick on Sunday. My neck was hurting so much that I had to spend my day in bed. At least I watched a lot of tv... but neck is still hurting.
I took some a medicine on Sunday evening and it helped a bit. I also called a massotherapist. She came around 7 or 8 in the evening... I'm not sure. I didn't care to look at the watch. The massage helped, but didn't cure it. On Monday, I had a lot of things to prepare for Tuesday... so you figure what it was like. :)

What an awful weekend!!!

Samoa Island without Tsunami

Every Thursday, my husband watches a cooking tv show called Bizzare food from the World hosted by Andrew Zimmerm. The host is awesome. I really enjoy sitting in front of the tv and watching it. The food presented is sometimes a bit disgusting, but the way Andrew talks is just so cool. So, last Thursday I had a chance to watch it with my hubby (husband). And the destination was Samoa Island.

Don't get disgusted!!! Yeah, those are bats!!
